With any great culture comes its Golden Age. The Golden Age of Athens in the 5th century BC or the Italian Renaissance of the 16th century, or the roaring twenties of Jazz New York. In any Golden age, no matter the culture, one sees an increase in productivity, in prosperity, scientific achievement and, through art, perhaps, a gateway to the soul. Not many live through one, and even fewer take part; but, in our case, we did both, baby. We must consider ourselves the lucky ones.
